OUR HISTORY

 

In 1981,  God burdened the heart of a local business man to start a Regular Baptist Church in Grand Island.

 

With documents in order,  in the fall of 1983,

the church was recognized by a Council of sister Nebraska Regular Baptist Churches

as a duly ordained New Testament Church.  

 

We’ve been blessed to have had  as our former pastors:

Pastor  Roger Ridley 1984-1995

Pastor  Greg Ubben 1982-1984

 

 We purchased our current facility

           on Vine street in 1990.

 

We graduated from mission's status in 1995.

 

We called our current pastor, John Hayes, in 1997

and ordained him into the Gospel ministry in 1998.
